I find statements about such and so being our “only hope” a little pessimistic. You don’t need a whole-ass revolution to catch a banker in an alleyway, and that can happen well before people pushed too far start applying cold logic to the problem of fighting a well protected enemy that gleefully employs collective punishment.
Even an NSA boss trying to protect the system should see the smart play is letting the people cut out the worst cancers themselves every once in a while. The climate projections are spiraling fast; gotta be some cognitive disonnance to protecting a ruling class that would see your grandchildren extinct.
